Christi Kirk joined KEF in 2004 and currently serves as Family and Community Engagement Manager. She leads the Project GRAD school-based team as it works to remove barriers from student well-being and academic success while developing partnerships that support the goal of student and family empowerment.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in school counseling from Lincoln Memorial University. Christi holds a Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness (CSEE) certificate from UT and has served students from elementary through post-secondary for over 19 years with Project GRAD.
Christi is a member of both East Knoxville and North Knoxville Business and Professional Association, Women’s Fund of East Tennessee Strong Women Strong Futures Network, and the National College Attainment Network (NCAN). She was a 2023 finalist in the education category in the Tribute to Women for the YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley.
A native Knoxvillian, Christi is the mother of two adult children, Taylor and Christian, and enjoys reading, water aerobics, music, and theater in her free time.
