Community Collaboration

The CEO Champions, co-convened by Knox Education Foundation and Knox County Schools, is dedicated to advocating for the 865 Academies and supporting students along the full pathway from K–12 to post-secondary to the workforce. This collaborative group of leaders meets three times a year to engage with students, school staff, and district leaders, gaining firsthand insight into the impact of the 865 Academies. Together, they strategize on how to mobilize community support to strengthen and sustain the transformation of the high school experience for all students.
CEO Champions are community, industry, and post-secondary leaders who:
- Believe in the mission of the 865 Academies and the KCS Portrait of a Graduate.
- Are committed to innovation, education, and the Knox County community.
- Champion the 865 Academies broadly and inspire others to do the same.
- Support and foster conversations about career and college preparedness.
- Provide expertise to support the continued progress of the 865 Academies, helping students successfully navigate the full journey from K–12 to post-secondary to workforce.
